Typography in Leeds

The task we were given was to explore Leeds, looking for typographic examples of which was around us for Typesetting Co. Typesetting Co is a project aimed at collating found images of typography in Leeds to aid the development of an open source typeface. The images of which I chose to upload and were successfully featured, were the number sign, boat sign and a car park sign. Out of all the pictures I took that day, these three were my favourite because the composition of the picture worked out the best and the location of them all is unusual and more Interesting. My favourite image is the number because of the odd contrast of the colours and also the unique line of the 7.
