First impressions - Good cv's and cover letters

What are you? do you have a proposition? what are your key selling points?

using case studies

base around transferable skills
don't use cliche skills
use STAR (situation, task, action, result)
include at least 3 - as many as 5

work experience 

dates, company, position
was it employed/internship
description of employer
summary of role
duties and responsibilities
two is great
achievements
reason for leaving

additional info

cover letters/supporting statements 

intro paragraph explaining why you are corresponding
explain current situation/objective
can you state a connection to their organisation
demonstrate commitment on chosen profession
present your key selling points aligned with role
use key requirements as headings
where did you gain the experience
